Juice Fast: Day 9

Woke up feeling rested. That's something pretty new to me and I'm starting to like it. I'm aware that I don't get nearly enough sleep (I average about 5.5 - 6 hours per night) and I'm used to being groggy and beat the minute I wake up. I've noticed the last few days that I wake feeling rested. And it lasts right up until the end of the day -- which is also a novel experience for me. Good stuff.

One odd thing the past week has been the incidence and intensity of night sweats. There is all kinds of anecdotal reference to detoxification from a juice fast. I'm not sure about the science on it, but I can report that I've been sweating at night since starting. And really sweating, as in, "need to change the shirt and sheets sweating." Last night was the first night without that, so maybe there  is something to the detox claims.
